Director - Business Development & Customer Success (Remote)

Role Title - Director Business Development and Customer Success - 

As a part of Business Development Team at Tiger Analytics, you will play a senior and fundamental role in achieving our client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The role will involve taking calls / meetings with senior client executives at Director, VP, CXO levels (for Analytics/AI) with our prospects/clients, making high-impact presentations and will include travelling abroad from time to time too, mostly to the US, attending conferences and most importantly, following up hot leads to a winning closure.

This person will report directly to the Leadership for Business Development and Customer Success. Base Location would be Chennai-Bengaluru-Mumbai-anywhere else in India, in that order of preference.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Entrepreneurial mind-set to be able to frame up and execute strategies to grow the verticals under ownership and aligned to the company strategy and culture

12+ years in client-facing roles, of which 6+ years in direct business development roles owning sales and P/L targets, preferably working in Analytics/AI/ML/Big Data/IT services/related consulting services & solutions industries

Significant experience working in or with the US market

Industry experience / exposure to one or more of the following: Technology (preferably Bay Area)/Entertainment/Media/Publishing and other Services such as Legal/Telecom (TEMPT)

Business Consulting Skills

Outstanding communication, listening and presentation skills

Superlative relationship-building and management skills

Super-high levels of “discussion-stamina”, to be able to talk to multiple prospects as well as multiple internal stakeholders to make wins happen

Superlative commitment, flexibility and motivation to stay focused and win clients while being in harmony with Tiger’s unique culture

Willingness to travel abroad at short notice

Reasonable familiarity with analytical problem solving

Out-of-the-world proposal writing and presentation skills

Should be able to learn and deliver results quickly, including sales and pipeline targets

Good to have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Sciences ; MBA from Tier 1 Campuses 

Experience across lead lifecycle and lead management strategies

Experience in Lead Generation, Digital Marketing, CRM-Sales-Marketing Automation Tools

Account Mining expertise

Experience in developing and closing major wins

Experience in Partnerships/Alliances
